Here is the official annoucement email by my company's Regional Vice President.
My company is so good to staff... but I have to go biz training during the period.
How come, HOW COME??!!!

All,

With WTO meeting held in HK next week and traffic diversion and arrangement made in our area, I would advise you all to use personal discretion in making your way back to the office.

As such,
1) it is NOT compulsory to come to the office to work, you can work at home .
2) It is fine to be late to the office due to traffic re arrangement
3) Leave early from work if necessary to avoid any demonstration
4) Listen to the radio to assess situation re protestors and demonstrations
5) Contact each other if you are not working at the office, this would relief anxiety among your colleagues as to your whereabouts !

Lastly, your personal discretion and exercising self care is utmost !
